The city of Sendai is situated in the Northeast side of Tokyo and is located approximately 350 kms from Tokyo.  Sendai is about one hour and thirty minutes by Bullet Train from Tokyo station.  Also Sendai airport has regular connections with International airport and is a major domestic airport.  Closest airport - Sendai Airport ( SDJ ) which is one of the largest in the Northeast side district has regular connections with Narita  ( Tokyo ) International Airport ( NRT ).

Sendai has a population of over one million. Its capital is Sendai City, which is the urban center of the Northeast side region.  There is said to be a comfortable city to live in and is well known nationwide as  the city of Universities.  There are a wealth of nice nature, historical sites, temples, shrines.  It is blessed with a rich, green environment.  Especially the zelkova tree lining Jozenji-Avenue is symbols of Sendai, the City of Trees.  The seasonal view is loved by the citizens - fresh leaves in spring, coolness in their shades in summer, colored leaves in fall and their illumination in winter.

We're not sure if we can call it a "our club asset", but most of members can speak conversational English, a few members speak French, German and we have open hearts and minds, enjoy hosting ambassadors, and are eager to make new and keep the activities.  Our members  are running on corporation president, the shop and restaurants owners including each of workers and professors and part-time professors including also each of university students and so on.
